Welcome to the Atkins Memorial Library.

Your Community Hub for Learning, Connection, and Discovery!

For nearly 80 years, the Atkins Memorial Library has been more than just a building—it’s held a special place in the hearts of our community. A place where stories spark imaginations, friendships are formed, and people come to learn, share, and connect. Like you, we’ve missed it. After being closed since the pandemic, our doors are open once again-and we’re so glad to welcome you back.

We’re building a library that serves everyone—from children discovering the magic of books to teens finding a safe space to explore ideas, from adults gaining new skills to seniors staying engaged and inspired.

Meet Our New Library Director!
We’re thrilled to welcome Josie Swoboda as the new Director of Atkins Memorial Library!

A lifelong book lover—especially of young adult fantasy—Josie brings creativity, energy, and a deep love for community to her role. When she’s not diving into a good book, you’ll likely find her dancing (yes, literally!).

We’re so excited to have Josie leading the way and can’t wait for you to meet her. Stop in and say hello!

Something for Everyone

Atkins Memorial Library is a welcoming space for readers, learners, and neighbors of all ages. Whether you’re looking for your next great read, a quiet place to work, or a fun activity for the kids, you’ll find it here. Our shelves are full, our doors are open, and our team is ready to help you feel right at home.
