Welcome to the Atkins Memorial Library

Your Community Hub for Learning, Connection, and Discovery!

For nearly 80 years, the Atkins Memorial Library has been more than just a building—it’s held a special place in the hearts of our community. A place where stories spark imaginations, friendships are formed, and people come to learn, share, and connect. Like you, we’ve missed it. After being closed since the pandemic, our doors are open once again-and we’re so glad to welcome you back.

We’re building a library that serves everyone—from children discovering the magic of books to teens finding a safe space to explore ideas, from adults gaining new skills to seniors staying engaged and inspired.

Meet Library Director Josie Swoboda!!

We’re so glad to have Josie Swoboda leading the Atkins Memorial Library.

A lifelong book lover, especially of young adult fantasy, Josie brings creativity, energy, and a deep love for community to her role. When she’s not diving into a good book, you’ll likely find her dancing (yes, literally!).

If you haven’t met Josie yet, we hope you’ll stop in, say hello, and help us give her a warm welcome!

Monday 9:00am – 1:00pm
